Lisa Jackson (40’s) was murdered by her boyfriend, Jeffrey Gardiner in a murder-suicide in Yeppoon, Queensland on December 6, 2010 (two days before her birthday).
Lisa was a mother to a son, and Gardiner had three daughters.
Lisa was described as great mum who enjoyed life and had plenty of friends.
“She was one in a million, you would never find anyone like her anywhere,” they said.
“Lisa was a well-respected and important member of our team at Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology and her smiling face brightened many patients’ days,” regional manager Narelle Fleming said.
“She will be sadly missed by her workmates, patients, doctors and medical staff.”
Lisa and Gardiner had been together for about 6 months.
Emu Park police attended the residence in relation to a welfare check and forced entry to the house.
They discovered the body of a woman and then the body of a man in another part of the house.
